WMS Dance/Fun Night is scheduled for Friday, October 28 from 6:30 - 8:30 at WMS. Admission is $5. Costumes (school appropriate) are welcome! Students must take care of their ABCs in order to attend...good attendance, good behavior, and caught up on classwork. Students will have the option to continue the fun at the Club from 8:30 - 11:00. There will be a bus to take the kids from WMS to the Club. There is an additional $2 admission for the Club. WMS--Free, online tutoring available for K-12 students! South Dakota students and families can access a new, online tutoring program, staffed by college students who are preparing to become teachers. The Dakota Dreams Online Tutoring Program offers FREE online tutoring to K-12 students across the state. WMS--School attendance is crucial to academic and social success at school. If your child must be gone, please be sure to bring a note every time your child sees a medical/dental/ortho/mental health provider so we can document the appointment in our attendance system. Absences without a note will be marked as parent request with a comment for the reason (ill, dentist/ortho, counseling, etc.). Please be sure to call in by 9:00 each day; if we do not hear from you or we are unable to make contact, we will ask our SRO (who serves as our attendance/truancy officer) to do a home visit to check on the student.

If your child was accepted into theWatertown Driver's Education program for this summer. The classes will take place at the Watertown Middle School. The driving portion will meet at the Middle School as well, unless scheduled differently with driving instructors.

WMS Spring Showcase is Monday night from 6:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. Come see art displays and other classroom materials! We will also be featuring our music programs with 8th grade orchestra, jazz band, and swing choir performing throughout the evening. Drop in as your schedule allows and help us recognize and celebrate the awesome work of the students at WMS!
WMS--You are invited to have school lunch with your child at WMS from April 19 - May 6! The purpose of this invite is to allow you to see, taste, and experience school lunch, so no outside food, please. The lunch is FREE (one per child) and we are limited to 20 guests per day/10 guests per lunch. 7th grade lunch is from 11:54 – 12:29 and 8th grade lunch is from 12:40 – 1:15.
